    I can't argue; you're right, of course.

    But I also contend there's value to understanding the history when you know there are similar problems embedded in a multitude of systems - GPS date rollovers, the end of the world in 2038, that kind of thing.

    Very worried about a rejection, but I am taking one for the team by risking the submission. Too many red flags to count. Multiple attention checks including many subjective ones based on opinions, also has grammatical errors threats and a long screener. Seems like they are looking for excuses not to accept your work.
