I did edit my post but yeah it basically comes out to 10 each - biweekly-from the 2 platforms I do. Really depends on how much effort I want to put in, what's actually out there I can do, what my mood is lol. I've noticed too there's more work before noon most days, so that means I have to be up >_<

I started years ago, maybe back in 2008 or 2009? I just was looking to make some extra Christmas money. I believe there used to be commercials about it on tv. I've tried some other things over the years also, like Inbox Dollars (surprised their still around!). Still looking for other things to add to my 'arsenal'.

I have found that Mypoints is great, and I also use Inbox Dollars, and swagbucks. When I cash out, I only cash out half of what I had so that it will not be like I am having to start back from 0. Paid viewpoint is my favorite, and you can cash out frequently there. I try for once a month, but lately it's been every 2 weeks. Survey Savvy has an extension app you add to your devices and it runs in background to make you money every month it's on there. They pay with check, which is not much of a problem. Rakuten Insight is good also, and ipsos. With Ipsos, you can let credits build and cash in for gift cards and stuff. Main ones I know of right off top of my head that pay well.

Thanks for sharing :) I've heard of a few of those , though Rakuten Insights is new to me. I use their cashback extension. I'll look into the some of the others though; glad they're working for you.:emoji_thumbsup:

I haven't tried it myself but many people seem to like Prolific, so maybe check that out if you haven't. I was doing OnePulse for about 2 months on my phone. They send you quick surveys to do via their app, though some of them want you to write a sentence or 2 which is annoying. I just found some of the surveys/'pulses' kind of weird and it was too slow to earn for me. Paypal cashout is $20 and I only made $10 in 2 months. :emoji_expressionless:

I'm kinda shocked Swagbucks is still profitable. I did it years ago, and quit when it just became ridiculous trying to get enough swagbucks.

During the week paid viewpoint has a lot of surveys... kinda slow on weekends, which is ok by me. Sometimes you need a little break, which gives me more time to list stuff on ebay. :)

I am delighted anytime that I can complete more than my daily mark of 4 surveys as a turker, but I always try my hardest to do more than that. Are there any good pointers other than doing qualifications and setting smaller reasonable daily goals that would help do better?? I read about the little extension deals that supposedly show you what you make per hour, but also read that such things could get you in violation... never knew that was a thing.

Are you also selling gamer girl bathwater? I'm personally in a business partnership with over 20 gamer girls. They send me their bathwater and I sell it for them on Ebay and also direct-to-consumer through our website. Making millions for just a few hours of work a month. :dunno:

Thanks for the tip. I added all the ones you mentioned to my spreadsheet. I may even re-visit Inbox Dollars. I've heard they've changed since just sending you 2 cent emails. :emoji_laughing:Agreed, breaks help avoid burnout.

That's funny.... there is a woman that was on a reality tv show that sells her farts in jars.. No for real, I sell books, antiques, and estate sale finds.. things like that. Sometimes we will buy a storage unit, but right now, I am busy working on listing things from an estate sale. Also, I do consignment sales from time to time.

With Mypoints I noticed that is easy to make the daily quota on surveys.. not quailified for surveys on inbox dollars, or swagbucks in over a week. Still at the end of the day, and as they say, "I'm hanging on like a hair in a biscuit". I've worked too hard to stop now.. I'm invested and plus it's nice to have something to fall back on when you are in a pinch and need a way to make it in limp mode until you can get back through to a better moment. :)

That's fair; I'm trying to get some things taken care of (dr appts and such) so I can try and find at least a part time job for steady income. But in the meantime I'm trying to make what I can.

I have been brainstorming the last 2 weeks.. I am trying to figure out a way to learn some new things and work on coding skills (html would be my strong suit since I work with that daily) in order to find something working from home. I love typing so there is an option for that somehow I hope. Praying to find something that can help pay the bills and still be able to homeschool our boys and ebay. Even if it was something until or if online sales pick back up I would be estatic and greatful. Right now, surveys are ok... I love taking surveys, but I would much rather online sales be going well and I would be able to take what I make from surveys and try to get ahead.... Trying to stay positive in today's world is difficult, but something has to get better. :)

I remember the 2 cent emails.. they were the best.. now Inbox dollars wants you to do some of everything... I try hard though. The days of 2 cent emails have since been replaced by inbox messages that pay you with progress on a bar that when it reaches certain areas, you can get scratch offs, that you can win from 5 cents to $100.. or a bonus which only is used as a survey bonus. I remember 2 cent emails were when I had my first inbox dollars account from starting it in 2011... I tried to log in to do surveys on it a few years ago and got locked out with no explanation as to why, so I had to make a new one, which I use now. I can only use it to get gift cards because it will not allow me to set up with Ppal account. Go figure.... I have been wanting to start a blog.. not sure anyone would want to read about stuff I would write about though... same as my 15 year idea to create a channel... neither option has become to fruition as of yet.. on the flip side.. I have Adsense set up and I guess that is a start.

Aah that's quite the change. I try and stick with survey sites that give you surveys based on your profile, but the progress bar thing sounds like an interesting concept. Sounds like the Inbox Dollar reps need to do something to 'consolidate' your accounts, or need to delete the old one. I'm sorry it's been a hassle. >_<

You sound very busy with kids and Ebay selling already so understandable it's hard to find time for other things. I've looked into typing jobs and according to Reddit there is mostly transcription work. I'm fairly proud of my typing skills -most of my friends 'peck' the keys lol- but it sounds really boring and tedious honestly.

All the other work-from-home-jobs seem to be in customer service; so depends on how you feel about dealing with irate people and possibly having to buy your own equipment (though I did come across a list of some that are supposed to provide it). If I could find an email only customer service job I would take it but I don't think I could deal with diffusing heated situations real time over the phone.

Maybe you should try the writing thing; what were you thinking of writing about?

I joined a local FB group for jobs in my area. Every now and again I see something worth looking at. You might try that.

I found this WFH group through that local jobs group I mentioned above. Every now and again I see someone post something tempting. Definitely do your own research and watch out for scams. Members there are quick to point them out, but be mindful. https://www.facebook.com/groups/846737977192910

For coding, there are tons of free resources. You might try Khan Academy. It's free. https://www.khanacademy.org/

If you have a car and don't mind driving around, you could try Amazon Flex. They allow you to bring your kids, they just have to stay in the vehicle at all times. It depends on your market and when you want to deliver, but I deliver early morning blocks and make decent money doing that.

I like a lot of what this creator puts out. She is very transparent..

Am I reading their website wrong, or are they currently not accepting in any cities?
