I have islfvr8491 >= 100 qualification for the HIT posted by malysa if that is the one you were meaning. Mturk seeming pretty dismal here on the weekend like you said.

 

Unfortunately, it's dismal everyday.

Also, for reference, that qualification is for surveys using CloudResearch. They essentially gatekeep most surveys on Mturk and now have their own platform called Connect: https://www.cloudresearch.com/products/connect-for-participants.

Prolific is where you want to be. You mentioned you don't have a cell phone, right? Is that preventing you from getting verified? I’d look for ways to work around that, like borrowing a friend’s cell phone. Unless you have some closed qualifications, Masters, or both, Mturk isn’t going to be as lucrative.

QualifEye is just a scraping tool; it looks at what’s available at the time it was posted, so check it often. And yes, Shop By Interest is one of those requesters that spams new quals for every single HIT they create. It’s annoying, and I’d just ignore their HITs altogether.
