Prolific went from awesome to near useless for me....just tried to join one study and it just repeated the same error about it being in high demand and try reserving again until all 500 spaces were gone.

 

Did every researcher die after the election? This is nuts.

 

I got a new paper notebook. I've been writing in it every time I finish a hit on mturk, connect, or prolific, or earn a bonus. now it's a chart I can use as a template for each day I have time to turk in the future.

 

finally got a prolific batch and it's time for my date. I would literally cancel it but he's in from out of town and leaving tomorrow hoping for work tomorrow because I'm super broke...

 

when you say batch do you mean all these studies asking you to talk into a camera and answer questions while they record you? gl and have fun with your date

 

No. This is a special batch that only a few special people get. It's one of the AI ones I'm in and the main source of my rent. I'm in a couple like that that are limited to only a few people. This one I've been working for 4 or 5 years.

hey did you fill out more about me's because I finally started getting more again on prolific. but connect is still almost totally dead for me ever since I verified my identity there.

 

I filled out a little more but still not what it was like before I'm at $7.21 today so better than yesterday at least. Connect is still okay for me but a lot of it was follow up study stuff I think. I have like $30+ of these film your face and voice while answering questions studies available but I don't like the idea of them.

 

I don't get why you keep getting those but I think it's funny I got a small number of camera or record your voice hits and clicked that I wasn't interested and I don't think I've gotten any since. I hope tomorrow is good for both of us

 

P. S. I might be around tonight. don't know if I will be too tired to turk or not yet.
