does anyone know of any banks or whatever that put mturk payments through on weekends and federal holidays? ideally also after 9 am - 5 pm business hours? my mturk payment that went through yesterday which was friday, won't be available to me until it gets in bank account on tuesday. because monday is a federal holiday, Presidents Day. these waits for getting paid after mturk sent the money seem out of date.

I think the only thing you can do is get paid to an amazon balance. The problem is in how they transfer to banks. They use ACP I believe and it holds the same holidays as all the banks. I had to start working at QMEE because of that very issue. There I can transfer any time, which is crucial for me.

 

Friday withdrawals have been coming through for me on Saturday with a Chase checking account. Anything sent on Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday though takes 'til the next business day. Importantly though, Chase checking has a monthly fee if you don't keep your balance over $1500 or get $500 a month in direct deposits from an employer ($500 a month from mturk worked in the past/ not sure about prolific/ paypal). So, it isn't ideal for a lot of people. If I didn't have such a long history with them/ free brokerage account, I would opt for a different credit union or bank.

 

Thanks for the info. I love working on mturk, but they used to let us transfer money every day if we wanted, and that was a huge part of the appeal of working on mturk. they kind of went backwards from the rest of the world by switching to making us wait for a minimum of three days between when we get money.

 

I don't know any off the top of my head, but you can reach out to any bank or credit unit and ask them if they process ACH payments during the weekend.
