Sorry if this has been asked and answered (though I can't see where), but does Prolific do some throttling thing?

Prolific is usually a trickle for me, except for one day of the week (usually Thursdays) where it is basically non-stop. I've been survey-ing the past three hours without rest, which is fine, but why isn't the work spread out through the week? Just me, or is that the way it goes?

I have been experiencing something similar. I think Thursday is most likely to be busy for me also.
