Dear researchers at an Ivy League university:
if thoughtful written responses are wanted, an adequate time allotment might help (unless you really want to screen the 'slowpokes' out).

There are some .50 surveys you can do. "Answer a survey about your opinions"
is the title I believe.

 

define wake up... slept for 4 hours around 9 last night and woke up at 1 to continue working on Prolific. decided around 7 I should probably try to get more sleep. put on the newest episode of RHOBH to fall asleep to which caused me to dream that I was a character in the episode. I'm pretty sure it was more amusing than the episode itself as this season sucks. woke up an hour later to go straight back to work on Prolific. I have to catch up because my batches recently have been arriving when I have other plans/obligations and then dead when I schedule two or three days straight to work. It's not as easy to cancel plans since I am "visiting" my hometown and want to see as many people as I can while here and also need to finish my adulting before I can go back up to the place where I am actually paying rent. At least my friend's couch is super comfy

 

I wish they woulda finished that show. I hate when a decent series leaves for forever on a cliffhanger... they blamed it on showrunners but couldn't they have hired new ones?

 

Batches on prolific?

 

the requesters actually contacted me personally to do those surveys in a dark alley behind Wendys while wearing a chicken suit. I told them if its not a dark alley behind a classy joint like Denny's or Ihop then theres no deal. I'm kind of a high class ho.

 

Yeah it seems like it happens a lot to shows I like. I guess am not the target demographic. I don't watch too much heavily produced media anymore. I watch mainly livestreams and podcasts.

What kind of research is that?

...

"You will see a bunch of photos. Pick one and answer questions about it."

(Later, after the photos are gone and you can't go back):

"Were the photos in order, sorted by title?"

Attention check? Memory test?
Nothing warned me to take note of whether the photos were sorted or not.

(For such "gotcha" attention checks without a back-button, do we ever feel tempted to cheat by taking screenshots? Tempted perhaps, but of course we would never.)
