If that happens to me, I assume it's the researcher running a study on both platforms, and "forgetting" to edit the label on that box. So I assume they just want your ID from the platform you're using for the study. So in your case I would've put my Connect ID.

because my company is only for this state. I chose them because they pay for 26 chiropractor visits a year with massage. Technically, you have to sign up for medicaid right when you move to a new state but I haven't signed a lease yet and my storage is in Louisville so I haven't technically moved yet, you know. given our current administration, I don't want to eff with anything that may only be temporary and hard to renew/transfer. I got this under Obama over a decade ago. I know it will cover me in an emergency room anywhere in the US but doctors offices have to sign up for any insurance that they choose to accept and other doctors in other states probably don't want to mess with the bs for one patient that rarely chooses to see a doctor.
Yeah, I did allergy testing back in the late 90's. I was working fulltime and going to college fulltime and having to take an hour or two out of my day every other day didn't seem worth it when I was 18. Now I'm 45 and regretting a lot of past decisions lol. Really should have completed all of those allergy shots. There was very little that I wasn't allergic to. Delaware is better for that though. Kentucky is in a valley which keeps all of the crappy stuff in it. Your lucky that you live in high elevation.

I never would. It's kind of against policies on most platforms to share identifying information. Hopefully researchers are smart enough to use other means of prescreening such as IP identification when cross posting. Otherwise, not my fault.

As I understand, researchers can request the participant's ID of the platform where the study is posted; so, a study posted on Prolific can ask for my Prolific participant ID, and a study posted on Connect can request my Connect participant ID.

If the study wrongly asks for my ID from a platform other than the one where the study is posted, then I usually assume it's just a mistake (maybe the study was deployed on both platforms, and the researcher "forgot" to edit the platform name in the ID request). – So, in such cases, I'll just give them my ID from the platform where the study is posted. If it's on Connect I'll put my Connect ID, or if it's on Prolific I'll put my Prolific ID.
