i just did a taste of the world hit like it was 2015. a tear shed down my eye as I realized that damn, 2015 mturk was the shit, but they aren't all winners. lol that hit was awful.

 

5,000 noah turk hits were up at like 2 am last night and i was so sleepy i could only get 10 bucks worth. would it kill those heathens to post during business hours?

 

yeah and thanks @lucasnon and @thedorchannel too. I want my email to have zero emails in it. maybe it's okay to just download files from paypal and keep those.

 

Sounds like they were released at prime IST working time... hmmmm.

 

If you use filters and folders you're inbox could have zero emails while still keeping records of everything. I always deleted the approved study emails from Prolific and the like but kept any of the payment emails.

Ugggghhhhhh I WISH. I still remember the night Sergey popped up with like $1.50 HITs that took 30 seconds and made like $150 in less than 2 hours. Those were the days.

 

I actually don't remember those. I think I remember 18 cent ones that took 5 seconds and after that mturk invented throttling

Shit, I remember Google itself had like 10-20 requesters that posted several times a day. We are literally responsible for all the tech thats out now. I tried to explain that in my last job interview before being removed by security

 

I think what happened were the 5 second ones were accidentally posted in a huge batch for the $1.50 instead. I remember everyone joking that an intern got fired. But he paid out!

 

I always tell my husband "I trained the hey google assistant" lol. They must have thousands of recordings of my voice saying hey google and all the other nonsense they had us say. Lol

 

its surreal when these projects come out into the real world. My proudest moment was seeing chatgpt after doing all those "Make an AI say something bad" hits a year earlier.

 

It is!!! Kinda cool. Of course we never get any credit. Lmao
