05/17 - Soothing Saturday

I want to know how much I will get in my bank account from prolific. if I go prolific to paypal to bank account. does anyone have a math equation for this? the math would have to account for currency conversion, paypal fees for converting gpb to usd, flat transfer fee from paypal, percentage transfer fee from paypal. right now if I know the amount I need to pay a bill, I have to guess how much to send from prolific. it's starting to cause problems.

There's no fee for transferring money into your bank from PayPal, unless you do an instant transfer. It's not much. If you don't have a PayPal debit card, you should consider it. I've used it to pay bills and go shopping right after I cash out from Prolific.

am I right in thinking there's a 3% fee to convert gbp to usd by transferring gbp from prolific to paypal? that seems low. maybe there is a flat fee for currency conversion too. or maybe my % is wrong.

next weekend is memorial day weekend. may 26, which is the monday after next weekend, is a federal holiday. so no mturk transfers will be deposited in bank accounts on monday may 26.

 

Am I tripping? They want you to listen to 80 PAIRS of audio and rate similarity for 2 pennies??? But then the description says $1.60 for 10 minutes ... but the hit pays 2 cents. Wtf
