I wrote to the requester for clarification, asserting that I am not a bot.

I think this may happen to me once in a while because I use the keyboard when possible to navigate bubbles instead of the mouse.

 

We still never got the Christmas badges... so... yeah... I'm not holding out hope.

 

I don't agree with this strategy I am experiencing on Prolific.

 

Why are there so many studies wanting microphone and camera but it does not seem directly a part of the study by the description? Is it just so they know people are not bots, a part of the study, harvesting data for the robo-reptilian overlords, all of the above? I want money but cameras and microphones steal my soul essence and I have to protect that.

 

Some of the studies do have you verify before starting the survey. Others are just surveys where you complete the questions through a conversation format. They give you a base question, you answer on cam/mic and then the additional questions evolve from your responses.
