07/23 - Turkpocalypse Averted Wednesday

I don't do the camera ones because I feel like they'll just repackage the video of me and show it to you guys complete with scaled questions as part 2 of some experiment.

 

Feel like I missed out of big bonus because of errors on the studies side and not my own. No communication at all been sending a follow up message every week or so.

 

Prolific isn't accurately reporting completion times for some studies especially the ones with lower participant counts. Anyone else notice this?

 

I really wish that I could do some studies on my phone. I don't have a webcam or microphone, and some studies require me to have one.

 

Some things are eternal: the words of Shakespeare, the music of Mozart, and, of course, Turkerview forum.

Stanford GSB "Your Experiences (~ 5 minutes)" followup survey:

Timer 30 minutes, OK.
But the title's "5 minutes" estimate is questionable. Speedy workers, maybe, but "average" times may exceed 5 minutes for thoughtfully-considered responses. Even the first written question alone asks you to write for at least 2 minutes, leaving 3 for the entire remainder of the survey if you're aiming to finish in five.
