11/29 - Caturday duh!

is mTurk still useful anymore? everytime I go to try it, there's almost nothing to do. and when there is something to do, I can't submit a HIT unless I do the completion code through mobile.

I am not being negative, I'm being inquisitive

 

Making a long story short, I am now staying at a house my ex-wife's brother owns, and there is a cat. His name is Merry-go-round. Which sounded a little long at first. But after getting to know this cutie, I understand the name now. He will go round and round when you pet him. I thought today's subject was quite appropriate. So here is some Cat Tax for Caturday! May I present, Merry-Go-Round! He's my new little buddy!

 

I don't really use them much anymore, there's no money to be made, so I moved on.

I do ok on prolific, and I get a few on connect, but for ... I don't even know how long, maybe a year or two? I barely touch mturk. I haven't even run a scraper though; I just do my search for 'highest reward' and it's just full of small amounts, and red colored requesters

 

Due to "special circumstances" I am kinda stuck with Qmee. However I make much more with Qmee than I ever did with Mturk.

 

My guess is that very few people have the same problem I mentioned in my first post; I cannot submit a hit through the browser, I have to get the code on the browser, and type it into the mobile

and before anyone suggests it, it's not malware, and it's not an outdated browser, and I've tried it with a cleared cache where the only page I opened was the specific page with the HIT (obviously clearing everything at the hit page logs you out, so I do have to log back in)

I've only been on mturk for 11 years and some months. I guess I haven't been around long enough to hear of that.

or actually, I've barely touched the site in maybe 5 years, so maybe it's a new thing. I looked through my qualifications and the "assigned" page just shows an error, is that normal?
