02/20 - Fluffy Friday

Good morning everyone!!! Hope today is going well... I've not been by here in a while. What is with the black spider at the top of the screen?? I thought it would go away after logging in, but it's still there. A quick question to fellow turkers, this is my dashboard scores, is this good for someone who joined in 2024?? Approved 5,145 Approval Rate 99.84% Rejected 8 Rejection Rate 0.16%

I joined March 2024, not knowing anything about Amazon mTurk and did not really find a groove or routine until sometime in 2025. Many of the HITs I did great with are no longer on there. I have been trying to request qualifications, but have not gotten approved for any of the ones that I request a qualification for. It must take a few years to hear back on those or something. I started with daily goal of 4 HITs per day, and saw that I could do a few more.... I also set my payouts to once a week, which has been helpful. I recently increased my daily goal to 7 and I enjoy the days when I get more than that completed, because each day is always unpredictable as I never know who will drop by or what my day will bring. I have learned to be happy with whatever I am able to complete daily.

I was deeply hoping that mTurkSuite would be helpful at finding HITs but it's not pulled in any since about a year ago. I thought that with over 5,000 HITs completed, that there would be better paying/type of HITs, but that has been far from realistic. I am glad with the few HITs that I am able to do... I guess 2 out of 428 total HITs on the board is better than none at all, which I count as a blessing. Happy Friday!! MGB!!
