09/30 - Well, Where is it? Wednesday

Hi @ChrisTurk, I would like to be considered for a invite.

Also, this seemed appropriate to bring back for today

thank you

There's still a need for batch work imo, especially with university and AI studies. I mean, I can't image that slowing down but these requesters need a new platform to flock to. Prolific is okay but it can't do batchwork well. The other platforms have their upsides and dowsides and non can really fill the void mturk provided. I'm hopeful that if there's a suitable platform out there, the requesters will eventually go there

same.

yeah, as much as people dog on MTurk throughout the years just wait til they see how awful the potential alternatives are. hopefully CT can really get Aboundly off the ground. nothing else is as open, script/helper friendly, and legitimate compared to Mturk. the community surrounding Mturk through various forums and Turkopticon really helped in that regard.

edit: my brains were scrambled. fixed!

From what I understand, you can get the same experience doing surveys on Swagbucks.

oh god not swagbucks

I hope you actually release it.
I would love to take a look and try it (if that's possible)
I might know of 1 requester who hasn't built their own thing yet.
They have been unresponsive these last few days, actually, so maybe I could share this with them.

@ChrisTurk I'm down for whatever you got cookin up!

This hit me harder than I imagined it would So long, and thanks for all the fish!

RIP in Mturk.

@ChrisTurk Hope you are well. Congratulations on the initiative. I’d love to work on your platform!

I hope aboundly.ai can run on linux @ChrisTurk because when I was broke in the past I set up a laptop on linux. pretty sure I turked on it. if my computer breaks, I want to be able to do that again. I have seen hits on prolific that say you can't be on linux to do their hits.
