You'll be fine. CogDev is well known for doing make up HITs where you'll just have to redo the work.

They know their HITs are shit, they've gotten good at doing makeups lol, they're even all fancy and give you your own custom qual so only you can take your own makeup HIT and everything.

Also probably one of the nicest reqs I've had to message on mTurk.

i had that happen a few months back and they were cool with it. ofc i screw again today and i messaged them too lol

 

The problem with this is, now I have an uncertain window when the hit will appear, but I may not be available to notice it or work on it when it does finally catch.

Also it seems like about 80% of the time I set up a panda in hit catcher it just gives me pre? I have it set to 1.5 seconds? Is that too fast?

It's less about how fast it is and more about how much interaction is coming from your account between each site. You may have multiple things set up for only one site when worker.mturk and mturk have separate pre pools. For example, I work in mturk, panda in mturk, but have OW and HF scraping worker.mturk. Less interaction spread between them. And also the search rates between your applications can bump into each other as well.
