07/06 - Tsubasa Thursday!

Because they don't like coffee. They like sugar and shit.

 

Although I'm not gonna lie. One time I put ice cream in my coffee to cool it down - and it was good as fuck.

 

So you knew the answer to your own question already, lol.

 

Well I'm not happy about it.

 

Pour a shot of espresso over ice cream. It's amazing.

 

I have hypoglycemia issues and a horrid response to fake sugars. The smell of diet soda makes me run for the bathroom. I hate it when drinks sneak fake sugar in and don't call it diet or indicate it. Seagrams actually started adding some fake sugar in their nondiet Ginger Ale for awhile, to make it less calories than the competition and I hurled my guts out because of it once. They've since stopped but I can't ever drink that again.

I can tell the diff, but probably because I'm snobby. I mean, they don't call me the Hummingbird for nothing. It's literally because Matt has seen me survive on sugar water in the past when I've struggled to tolerate solids.

 

Fun fact: Nick Offerman's brother was a head brewer at one of my favorite breweries, Solemn Oath.

Hmmmm Might try this in a minute for my next cup...got some tillamook chocolate peanut butter last night and that sounds pretty good

 

Shh bb I'll make you a fresh cup of green tea so that you can wash down that salt with a nice and potent grass flavor.

speaking of, anyone out here drink matcha? stuff is like straight up alfalfa shoved into a food processor but it sustains me

 

There's a ton of things that sneak fake sugars in too, lowfat yogurts, sparkling beverages, even some oatmeals and such. It's redonk. I went to buy seltzer the other day and was annoyed when several of them had fake sugar because OIY. I have to read food labels way more intensely than I wish I had to.

 

That instant green tea powder shit? I haven't tried the package that I have yet but I imagine that it will also taste like grass.

 

I love tea and drink it all day but hate matcha with a burning passion. Matt drinks coffee like an addict and loves matcha.

 

That lipstick. I must have it.
