    I kept it short to minimize my shame. I'm so damn smooth when it comes to romance, that's for sure.

    Yeah, no, it was a pecan pie I made with fresh pecans from the farm I shelled myself. Shitty lighting in the kitchen at the time though.

    He figured it out, he knew me well enough already to know I didn't blurt out pecan pie for no reason. It took a few days of confusion though.
