So i'm behind in my accounting, just saw I got a rejection on the 9th from Megan Ingraham for Answer an academic survey about friendships, with a generic bullshit copy and pasted response:
Your HIT has been rejected for one or more of the following reasons: - Did not identify self as female, trans*, or gender non-conforming in demographics - Did not describe a Straight/Heterosexual White Male friend when prompted - Did not pass all three attention checks in survey This follows Amazon Mechanical Turk policy, which states that “a Requester may reject your work if the HIT was not completed correctly or the instructions were not followed.”

If I remember this survey correctly, mine told me to think of a homosexual male, so I'm stupid confused. Anyone else get hit with this bs?

 

I expected 3 pages of puns to follow this post, instead you guys must have scaled back, since this seems like the tail end.

 

They look interesting, but the 'Text goes here' having to be manually deleted in each box is too much of a slowdown for me. Is there any way to change that?

This can be done in a much less verbose manner.. but this is the most readable format I could whip up quickly.

Mine approved. I was asked about a hetero white male, but I remember thinking the wording didn't make a lot of sense given what they were asking. Sorry about the rejection.
