Yeah sure I can be wrong. But I can save newbies the trouble of dealing with something that they shouldn't have to.

On a side note if an 'update' for MTS on chrome was pushed either updating it to fix shit (I doubt it.. I know that he doesn't want to work on it anymore) or just rolled back to when it was good I would start telling people to switch back to it.

I don't play favorites. I just use the best tools that I have available to me.

 

Then I challenge you to code something better. Remember when @rdaneel modified Kad's script to add that feature you wanted, and you didn't even so much as say thank you or acknowledge it? Why do you think anyone would waste the effort of giving you a damn thing just because you open your mouth for it? If you have a problem with a script, learn to make it better or shut the fuck up. Ungrateful little shits like you are the reason a lot of us don't post public scripts anymore.

 

I don't ask people to improve stuff. Just don't make it worse. It feels malicious when you do.

 

It's not just kad. Sharing scripts is nerve racking enough without the worry someone is literally going to call it "shit"

 

Criticizing someone isn't the same as being ungrateful, he's merely pointing out that he has an issue with a thing. There's no need to be so rude and start calling names because he doesn't like x thing that you like.

You host it on GF so it doesn't matter if you push a bad update. (and you honestly put more care into testing than he ever did). It would take 10 seconds to revert an old version.

 

You can (and, honestly, should) say you prefer PC or w/e without being a dick.

Hundreds (maybe thousands, idk how accurate Chrome install tracking is) use it to fine results. Maybe its not as optimal as it was but what you're relaying goes beyond what is necessary to make your point.
