Last I checked, if you agree to the year of credit monitoring, you waive your right to take any actions against them. I know they changed some of that, but I would most def read the fine print folks.

 

That website actually doesn't work btw. It doesn't actually check.

 

They were forced to remove that verbiage, some judge somewhere laid the smack down and said that's not ok. You're fine to sign up now and still retain your legal rights.

 

and wouldn't the protection be sort of pointless if they were alrdy breached once

 

What can you even do if your info was stolen?

 

Using this site forfeits your right to sue them.
