So for the last couple of days whenever a hit loads on Mturk everything loads on the page, I can interact with it, but the page still shows as loading. Then when I go to hit submit, it will not submit because it is supposedly still loading. I have to close the page, reopen it, and then I can normally submit the hit. This is on every single hit from every requester regardless of whether the hit is embedded on mturk or linked to a survey site. All of my add ons are up to date. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Also just noticed that the timer does not advance on the page. It just stays at whatever time it was when the page first became visible.

 

Are you doing hits on www? www has an issue with if you get a PRE on the second part of the submit it will not actually submit. Doing his on worker will get solve this issue.

 

Yes I work on www. My understanding was that I should use Panda crazy on worker, but work on www. Is that not correct?

 

I run PC on worker and www and work on worker.

I also run HF/OW on worker. (I slow them down a lot if I'm going ham on a batch like I am right now)

Try loading up a browser that doesn't have anything installed in it and see if that works. I honestly haven't ever seen your bug before even if it sounds similar to the www submit bug it isn't actually the same thing.

 

When I want to look at porn, I use the TOR browser.

Don't want to make it easy for the FBI to track me.

Unless by hide you mean hand deliver your data to them.

 

When you submit a HIT on worker the page request to submit it still goes through www, it's just 1 page request as compared to 2 when completing work on www (1 for the request on submitting instead of 1 for submitting and 1 for loading the next HIT). So if you load up on enough page requests to lock www in PRE hell and have nothing running on worker and attempt to submit something through worker you'll still get a PRE on submit.

I guess that is true I just haven't ever seen it happen even when I throw PRE hell at www while working on worker.

 

I thought I was always safe if it doesn't show up in my browsing history.

It's unlikely to encounter through normal use, you have to really try to make it happen

 

Rapid requests on submitting are needed too, probably CI is where you're most likely to see it happening if you ever do
