    You can legally acquire the roms if you actually care. Emulation on the other hand is legal. (also it sounds like he has bought it at least once so I don't see the big deal)

    Very much so. However I'll be getting Zelda on WiiU since I won't prob have extra funds for the Switch till about September, plus not wanting to deal with the craziness of a launch
