    It sliced right through , and made a real mess of a fairly sleepy small city since we had tons of people from Seattle and NorCal and we don't have the infrastructure for that kind of traffic, but the event itself was definitely awesome. We saw it from some person's farm just out of town in Stayton.

    WOW!!! I'll bet that was. I had to drive 90 miles to get in to it, found a clean little dumpy hotel in Tennessee and planted my ass there for a few days, swimming and relaxing in the Smokies (never had been there before) It was clear all day so I got lucky. Glorious sight!
