    Let's say Alegion drops their batch I'm qualled for. I scramble and click on it from OW, and I hit that sexy panda button that throws it right into panda crazy for me. I had the RID for alegion alert me, and then used my scripts to start a panda from that particular GID.

    I was under the impression to do good batches, I would need a lot a HITs completed correct? And what is def of a good survey? 2 dollar ones?

    My def of good survey is
    -Acceptable pay for what/how long it is
    -Won't take long enough for me to get bored
    -Content is actually interesting, or it pays me enough to ignore the fact that it isn't interesting

    You want to stop looking at the overall value of the HIT and start looking at the hourly rate. I can drop a $100 survey, but it's not worth it if it takes 100 hours to do the survey. You want to try to find surveys that pay a decent hourly rate. TurkerView can help with that.

    I rarely use straight ham. I use the ham button when the batch of whatever I am working on is dying and I am trying to get those last hits. What I do use is DELAYED ham. I changed mine to last 5 seconds vs the default 15. So I set the panda to be on delayed ham, and then when PC sees a hit it goes full ham for 5 seconds, then lapses back to waiting for a hit when its not catching any. You'll have to play with the settings. Now for surveys I would just run a one time panda, with no ham, delayed or otherwise.
