I have done that though. I just ordered something yesterday and my payments balance is on hold because of that order. Have no clue why. I unchecked that box when it happened the first time and it still happens every now and then. I have my default payments setup as my debit account.

 

Are you doing it every time you order something? I have to if I have AMP balance.

No, I have my default payment setup as my debit.. and when I paid for my item last night I didn't see anything about my payments balance anywhere. Weird thing is I order stuff all the time from Amazon and this just randomly happens some of the time. Not sure if it is something to do with the app vs ordering on my PC or what.

I did however just find a drop down to make my debit the "default across all Amazon purchases". There are a couple different links to different parts of your account where you can setup payment options which is also very convoluted and not designed very well for the user.

I'm just complaining at this point. It doesn't matter either way because that money would have went into my bank account where I would have used it to purchase things. I just like transferring my payments balance to my bank. Feels good.

That's what I was hoping to do. I had transferred that money to my AMP and was waiting for it to clear to transfer to my bank, made that order, then when the AMP balance cleared Amazon snatched it before I could transfer to my bank.

Sneaky bastards. Guess I gotta make some more money so I can transfer it. Lol!
