I've actually been active on MTurk for over a year; 40,500 hits under my belt (only 5 rejects so far...wait, I shouldn't have typed that out loud and jinxed myself, forget I said that). I don't know why, but I've never gotten involved with any forums before, except for reddit which I read through daily and post to occasionally. I am a Jersey girl, transplanted to Texas to be closer to hubby's family. Leaving a pretty long career behind, I've taken to freelancing part time on everything that seems somewhat lucrative, from audio transcription and captioning, to MTurk, to whatever else I happen upon in between. Glad to be here and looking forward to chatting with the community!
