Kid went back to school today, it's been a loooong 2.5 weeks.

Does anyone have any ideas about how I could get HITs to load faster? It's taking fifteen seconds from when I click the work button from my queue to when the HIT appears. This is a lot longer than on the www site. Some of the slowdown is probably my ISP and being on a laptop, but are there any things I can do to speed up loading? Settings? Removing scripts?

 

turn off/remove scripts, close tabs that you aren't using, yell at your ISP

@lefty I just went down a rabbit hole of Hippo gif's, out of curiosity, because of that one you posted. It's not a hippo but I came but up with this one..haha

 

By the way... everyone should expect to see a 5-30% drop in CPU performance soon due to a serious bug on intel CPUs. Due to the way that it is getting patched AMD CPUs may be affected as well.
