We don't have to pump our own gas.

They just made it so that so that some rural areas where it's wasteful to have an attendant at the pumps at all hours can do it.

And in most of these rural Oregon areas (i.e., in the middle of I84), you already were allowed to pump your own gas after a certain hour. We did this several times this last year, in the Love's near Hermiston and generally along the Snake/Columbia rivers and around the Blue Mountains.
