Looks like a solid HIT to me.
Doesn't say you have to touch all 6 sliders and spend a whole minute meditating on your answer.

They took 6-10s each for me. You don't have to move all 6 sliders but reading time & at least considering all 6 as options takes time to parse. You could probably spam it at 5s ea if you just didn't even read the tweets & took addy but I'd rather do basically anything else with my life. Have at it.

Those Social Data ones were pretty good. Too bad they went from 1500 to 0 in 10 minutes..

If they happen to come back what did you put for the parent company if they WERE the parent company?

For example Urban Outfitters is the parent, as is Bank of America (or MBNA ).

I can't really tell whether or not I can do them at a good clip right now because I'm slow at everything as night sets in. All the coffee has worn off, and I've been up since 4am. I space out and keep forgetting why I even opened a webpage.

Pay rating of 5 is a bit excessive though. I'd give it a 3. I could see someone with a lot of energy, focus, and experience with these earning a solid $10/hr. filler wage.

For Urban Outfitters I would have returned it, but Bank of America isn't the parent, Berkshire Hathaway is so that one's good.

This is how I felt.. I was like "I want to like this, but I just absolutely don't" LOL

Yupp, 100% agree w/ this. Especially the experience, the emotion from most Tweets is obvious in a few characters but finding it in the list is tedious early on and where I was losing a good 2-3s consistently.. shame its a slider or it'd be easier to script.. hmm

I wonder if keybinding a letter to focus then # to set % would work.. eh, ok put too much thought into this already lmao

A keybind and a text highlighter for sentimental words would go a long way, but the HIT itself is unlikely to come around frequently enough (or ever again?) to be worth the effort to set those up.

In previous batches, I put the name of the company/brand. I've never had a rejection from them. I wonder why they upped the pay -- those HITs usually pay $.15.

    I made $13.75 -- so I'm happy. :)

    Goodnight fellow turkers,

I just wanted to know how long it takes a non masters to accumulate $100 for the day. I just made $100.00 but it took me close to 12 hours to do that. So i want to know if that is normal or am I doing something terribly wrong so I can evaluate. Thanks peeps!!

This is the struggle people who don't write their own scripts just do not understand.

"Holy crap I just made this super awesome freaking thing for this garbage batch, $$$$$$$$ :emoji_money_mouth::emoji_money_mouth::emoji_money_mouth::emoji_money_mouth::emoji_money_mouth::emoji_money_mouth::emoji_money_mouth:"

And it was never seen again :emoji_tired_face:

Better than me. I just hit $108 after 15 hours which is about average for me to reach it.

Berkshire Hathaway is not the parent. They own maybe 5% of the company. BoA is a publicly traded company that is not the subsidiary of anyone.

Masters or not 95% of people on mTurk don't ever make $100 in a day lol. $8/hr average wage over that large a time span (you're hitting some fairly crappy hours there) is very good, especially since I'm assuming you don't have many/any closed quals.

If you can put that level of drive/effort into it, it'll get easier for sure. Pushing that kind of volume on mTurk is difficult to ever achieve, let alone for someone just a month or so into it (I think you joined here fairly early in your turking but I could be wrong? You've said you were newer at least but either way, you're doing fine)
