    Don't overthink it.

TO has a shit userbase because it's popular, and most people who use mTurk are terrible at mTurk.

That definitely falls more in line with the leadership role which you claim doesn't matter because it's just a userbase issue. But you're dealing in hypotheticals which really have no place in this argument.
You're just being butthurt and lashing out at CT because you didn't get what you wanted. With the amount of effort you put into making sure other people are butthurt, you'd think that you'd be able to control yourself a little better when you didn't get your way.

Tbf, I don't. I put time into designing so I don't need to. There is some bad data sitting on TV atm that wouldn't be hard to find, there's ~10 unhandled flags in the dashboard I'm saving & one person with a profile filled with reviews that need to be sifted through.

TV is not perfect, but it is certainly not some crappy clone of a bad system. This is like boiling down McDonalds & some fancy schmancy restaurant to the customers who walk in the door.. what?

I looked the other day, and almost 75% of the data coming into TV is over minimum wage. It is not easy to have that much positive data coming in. The way TV is designed plays a huge part in the separation of the data sets.

But sure, everything can be boiled down to "the userbase", ignore the fact that the tool itself attracts the userbase. Or the fact that it helps train & manage the userbase, or the fact the userbase is the cultivation of the ecosystem surrounding TV (TH).

Frankly, at the end of the day, I'm perfectly fine with that being the ultimate attribution of success of TV because the userbase is the valuable thing about this place & certainly deserves the vast majority of the credit for the quality injected into TV.

I was going to say something far less kind than this :flail:

You're literally upset I don't want you using TH to benchmark crap, which is stupid, get over yourself.

I take my cat on sniff tours around the house. He usually cries when I pick him up - until he realizes that it's a sniff tour that he'll be embarking on. I carry him around the house so he can sniff the places he can't normally sniff like the thermostat and refrigerator magnets and the top of my ficus tree and stuff. He loves that shit.

You did awesome and you deserve your win and your bonus. I definitely wasn't trying to take that away from you, you must have seriously killed it last week!

I'm a cautious person by nature, so even though I get what you mean about having more confidence based on past success, I still have a hard time ramping up the percentages. I think my main point is still whatever system they choose to use, it should probably reward the people that are giving them the best data.

Just as a quick example, let's say we have 10 games.

User 1 goes 8-2, bets 100 on each game, and ends up with $600
User 2 goes 10-0, but bets 25 on 4 of the games, 50 on 4 of the games, and 100 on 2 of them, and ends up with $500.

User 2 not only got every game right, but also provided a more accurate representation of their confidence on each game, but User 1 walked away with the bonus.

I have no idea if there is a good answer for this, and obviously I'm not in the UNU offices, so maybe they are getting exactly what they want.

We call it, "checking for spirits," cause Bearnie will check every inch of the place and meow as loudly as possible while doing it. He used to go into the fireplaces and meow up the chimneys. We like to think he's checking for bad spirits and yelling, "BE GONE FROM MY HOME!"

It's a little less cute when he does it at 3am, but still pretty cute.

Cats are weird and I like it.

In regards to TV I believe submitting a time of completion can be the most valuable 'review' in regards to what people actually pay attention to, the pay. TV makes this insanely simple, which is great, which is why I do it.
