    I think it doesn't go over the $3/hour, but it's an easy 120+ HITs/hour, still good for numbers when there is nothing else going on.

    This is exactly true, no benefits, no minimum wage or protections or any recourse for theft or permanent marks on your account for no reason. it is exactly like slavery. there are good requesters but the system is made by and controlled by a very small 1% of very rich. just because wall street or organized corporate groups are a small minority does not make them the victims, they are the problem. hitler was a minority too,.

    No, you're missing the "forced labor" trait that's inherent to slavery.

    Nobody makes you work on mTurk.
    You can stop working at any time.
    And even when you are working on mTurk, you lots of choices with regards to what you do (and if you write scripts, you have a lot of choice of how you do it).
