Should I be vaguely worried that I live near you?

 

People randomly showing up at your house in the middle of the night is some spooky shite. If dude was telling me that, I would have been scared he was gonna kill me.

 

well, that was unexpected. You won the first round!

 

Nah, I would 100% be the prison Grinch. That thought alone prevents me from even doing petty crime.

 

I kinda was. And I was kinda scared to just kick him out of the house at that point too. I ended up driving him back home (he'd gotten a ride to work, and I lived near work so he'd walked over) late that night, and then about a week later he "quit" (basically just never showed up again). I thought maybe he'd just killed himself, but then saw him in a grocery store a few months later. I think he was in the middle of a bit of a psychotic break or something. He was the right age for it.

 

So the fear of punishment keeps you in line more than the actual idea of breaking the law. Interesting.

Lol. I mean I won't commit most crimes because they are morally wrong and empathy and what not but ho boy, I do not want to be rapped in prison for 30 years either.

I just laughed my ass off over the use of “rapped,” because while getting raped is horrifying, getting rapped is just getting whipped in a rap battle or something.

So, that sentence went from sad to hilarious.
