I’d say they are more upper middle class than upper crust folks, but yeah, she’s a consummate southern belle to a tee. She was born in NY (lol) and Matt’s dad still calls her a damn Yankee even though they moved down south when she was like 3 months old.

He has issues with the fact I’m a legit Yankee and not of “equal class.” We’ve never told him I’m Hispanic cause, he would lose his fucking mind.
