Got a rejection for missing a check in a survey, apparently. Not a good start to my day. :\

 

Also most of the stuff is gone by the time that it is exported anyways.

See, to me, it's bad business for an employer not to let contagious people stay home (and I've had a lot of them myself). What ends up happening is all the coworkers get sick, some customers/clients get sick, and all-around production goes down. It's inefficient, and it sucks for the sick party, like, a lot.

Was just an off-the-cuff comment/rant, but this sort of thing has always bothered me about our culture. Hyper-focused on productivity, with no regard for health or happiness. Blech.

I hope she feels better soon, and I hope you don't catch it!

 

You know a good thing I picked up from my stay in Japan is their wearing masks idea. When I'm sick at work, I wear a mask now (I'm not calling out for a cold, I'm sorry, I got shit to do).

Now a lot of my coworkers do too, its nice.

 

The majority of employers don't care what its employees consider to be "bad business." That's my experience anyway.

The masks don't actually help for a lot of stuff. The only thing it really does is that it keeps people away from you.

 

Ya maybe that is whats happening...I sit and wait all day for my PC to catch stuff I find in the forum. So maybe I should try to find HITS with HIT finder before they get exported?
