Dandelions are edible, they're just not very tasty. I hear they make good wine, too.

I... I mean I could be wrong because we know how I feel about vegetables...but...

I think it's the dandelion leaves you're supposed to eat, not the actual dandelion :emoji_sweat_smile:

Nah dude, all the "OMG PROTECT NATURE" folks SWEAR the entire thing is edible.

And that's why no one takes "The Tree Hugger Blog" seriously. You lose all credibility when you make me put white ass poison in my mouth.

Actually every part of the plant is edible, if I remember correctly. A lot of widespread garden "weeds" are edible as well, not just dandelions. I'd do more research into it before taking my word for it and going out and eating like, nightshade berries or something, though.

Leaves in a salad or something. You can eat the tops too. Deep fried dandelion tops are nice. Deep fried anything is nice.

Will kill the weeds and you could probably use it on the bees too, just be careful not to aim at your house.

First result on google has a whole list: https://www.treehugger.com/lawn-garden/eat-dandelions-9-edible-garden-weeds.html

And I bet they all taste disgusting. Unless you deep fry them I guess (@slothbear ) but.. that's cheating lol.
LOL. I try to be chill w/ the bees (wasps can get rekt). They get 1 month w/ the bushes & like 90% of them play fair with that time. But atm they're all over the spring weeds in the backyard that have flowered... sorry homies but those are dead tomorrow head back to the woods/neighboring fields where you belong :flail:

Apparently eating them young helps with the bitter taste. You can also stir fry them according to the treehugger blog you linked.

:emoji_thumbsup:Chop it up and throw it in with your crock pot meal, you won't be able to taste but it will make it so much healthier. Maybe rinse the poison off first though.
