    Speaking of blocks, I ate one last week from Snips. When I contacted them, they said 80% of workers invalidated my audio recordings. I looked and the last time I did audio recordings for them was back in October. Having done the audio recording validations before, I know they are sometimes broken and you have no choice but to invalidate them. That's my theory for how it I could be invalidated considering I always listen back to every recording before submitting.

    Either that, or I am waaaaaaaay dumber than I thought I was.

    @bubbleoh7 this is correct, fwiw. No agreement aka no contract, and no notice, means you're not on the hook. It's the combo that will protect you from having to pay. I'm guessing the neighbor did not consult you on the cost, style of fence, or company being used when getting quotes either? It's on them, they can't get retroactive payment for a unilateral action especially when they didn't give you any notice they were putting it in. All bets are off if you live in a HOA community.
