Technically Kada is totes correct here. By requesting data from TV it all gets lumped into server access logs. FWIW I don't parse them for personal benefit because its mostly noise & meaningless data but its possible as a theory - though I think mostly impractical for real-world application.

Its especially possible if you do something silly like request Pinterest's ratings 60,000 times in a day. It might alert me to the fact Pinterest is worth taking a look into. But most of the time the infrequent times I do check to see if anyone is ddos'ing it with their personal scraper scoutit, ibotta, p9r, etc are the most requested requesters lol. See example:

I swear somethings not right with ACME. When i pressed the record button on the last recording hit. All the buttons turned grey and unclickable. I've been doing their hits for quite a long time and only do the one's i'm qualified. But, i swear this is the second time out of the last 2 times that the buttons froze on my end. I just got a new computer, so it can't be me. It's like they're trying to prevent me from doing the work.

 

I pretty much typed that entire comment as a poke at @leafs4_cup for requesting Pinterests ratings 60,000 times in one day. Also at another unnamed entity who requested absolutely no data whatsoever for like 8 hours straight one night. So you're gonna have to try harder to top that

 

I'll just request some porn requester's data 69 times.
