Fitbit usually has great customer service. If you have the original Charge I know there was an issue with the bands bubbling up and pulling apart. That happened to a family member of mine and they were sent a new one. He gave me the old one and it worked for several months more until I bought my own.

 

Don't feel bad. I even added her on fitbit but I don't think she knows who I am since she says I'm a "non-fit".
