I wrote a message asking why mine was rejected yesterday... this was their response:

Thanks for working for my HIT.

Unfortunately, I have to reject your responses because they are in 1000's. I want responses consistent with preliminary estimates in all aspects. I personally can understand your answers, but these are original data so I must keep them open to others when I am required. In other words, I cannot modify your responses in any way. Taking all into considerations, I must eliminate your response and seek alternatives.
If there are other workers who make the same mistake, I will take it as my bad in that I did not clarify. You are the only worker making this mistake, however, among 120 workers. ​

Because of this, "Estimated sales in all cases are in 1000's. For each of the cases below, indicate what estimate of sales you would submit," I put all of my answers in the 1000's. If you put your answer with 3 numbers instead of 6, you should be fine.

 

Mine approved too. Were some not getting approved?

Yah, it's bullshit. Basically they told me, "hey, I know that I said the figures presented should be thought of in the 1000's, but I rejected your work because you put them in the 1000's."

 

Yeah, I was scared they would reject me if I didn't, and I figured, well, they can still use the data because that's what they implied the figures should be considered in.
