Are you using Charles? I think that is more of a "virtual" thing, where its just shoving a little watch man of sorts in front of your connection & keeping a record of everything going in/out. Minimal impact that way, probs fine.

If its an actual proxy that routes your connection to a middle-man server.. I wouldn't use that for anything.

Just go to any "check your IP" website, if it still displays your actual home IP you're probs fine.

..mind you I'm answering this with next to zero information and I'm far from an expert in network connections so YMMV. When I looked into Dolan it was just for your phone connection anyway, so idk whats going on lol
