    They carry disease and are pretty filthy. If they're out in the wild that's fine, but if you have kids or pets around, call animal control to deal with that shit. If you're an indoors only vampire like most sane people, you're fine.

    Raccoons have to be one of the smartest animals. They will get through any trashcan lid, no matter how good you lock it up. You could keep the garbage cans in your garage and they will figure out how to break in and get that sweet, sweet trash.
