Thank youuu. That gave me a few ideas. Poor thing is just having a rough time adjusting, and that's super normal (this is her first big move in her entire life) and it doesn't help when there's shitty boyfriend drama involved and some negative nancy friends who are making her feel like crap about herself. I had a real shit time adjusting when I moved out here and I feel awful that she's feeling that way.

I found a "You're totally badass" coloring book that has positive affirmations and is also inapprops and a cute little bracelet thatsays, "Don't trip over something behind you." It's a little cheesy-tastic, but it's one of those ones where you make a wish and when the cord frays, you know it's time to take it off and move foward blah blah blah.

She has her very sweet parentals for more traditional stuff, but I'm the token weirdo who sends her "be a bad a bad Grinch," texts to perk her up lol.

I feel ya, I spend oodles of money on bird food and outside friend food. The only downside I've faced is the judgmental looks they give me when the feeders are empty. I swear they congregate just to stare at me deadpan through the windows. There are perfectly good mulberry trees that they have no problem eating from, but they'll still wait for me to serve them. Sure as fuck does the job though, because I pop right up to take care of my friends.

Sometimes I stick one of my spare security cams in the window so I can watch them easier, because I am 80 years old.

Someone gave me this stupid bird feeder & I just threw it up because I was tired of it sitting in my laundry room. I have never given a crap about birds in my life.
