Got it. Thanks for the tips. I haven't experimented with Hit Finder too much (I did add MT Suite), because it looks so overwhelming. But it sounds like I better figure it out if I want to have improved returns on my time.

Yeah it's important. People around here seem to prefer the hitforker/Pandacrazy combo so it might be better to go with that. I'm still using the hitfinder/hitcatcher combo from the suite. I've been intending to give the other way a go for a few days now. There do seem to be a lot more options there, but I've got everything set up the way I like so it's been hard to convince myself to do it.

So here's a Panda question for anyone willing to enlighten me.

If it is a survey use the "Once" option, and if it is a batch HIT that I find that I want to do a lot of, use the "Panda" option?

I assume that is the case, however, a few days ago, I hit "Panda" on a batch hit. My laptop made lots of noise. I panicked. My queue was full. Each HIT had a 10 min limit! I panicked more...I attempted to start completing the HIT's but quickly realized that I could not do them fast enough. I finally stopped catching HIT's, returned about 15 and timed out on about 12. Felt like a disaster, so I've been very apprehensive ever since. Lol, everyone has this same story right?

if it is Panda Crazy you can set a queue HIT limit. I wouldn't worry too much about the expires, they don't have any true impact.

 

Yeah, this story is why a lot of people eventually "graduate" from HC to use Panda Crazy. In PC you can limit the # of a HIT it will accept at one time so you can only put enough in your queue to complete in regard to the timer.

For HITs w/ super long timers it doesn't matter, but for batches like that its helpful.

 

You can set a queue limit if you can't clear your batch fast enough.

 

For those I will set it to only catch a few at a time, enough that I know I can do them in the time allotted and then it fetches more as I complete them.
