We are back with more fun games! We will run an online game as part of Microsoft Research scientific project.

The full game has two parts:

1. Part 1: 3rd, 6th, 7th of August 2018 at 2 pm ET;
2. Part 2: 10th, 13th, and 14th of August 2018 at 2 pm ET;

You have to do Part 1 in order to be qualified for Part 2. The Part 1 HITs posted on different dates are the same and you only need to take one of them to enroll yourself into our Part 2 study. The game must be played on a desktop or laptop (No mobile support.). Firefox is NOT supported by our platform, either.

Part 1 HIT information:

Expected Qualification HIT length: 10-30 minutes ($1 base pay + up to $7 in performance bonuses)
NOTE: We'll submit multiple batches per day (each containing ~100 games each; 1-hour apart).

Part 2 HIT information:

HIT title: [Part 2/2] Play games and get up to $17 in total pay
Times: 10th, 13th, and 14th of August at 2pm ET
Expected HIT length: 15-30 minutes ($1 base pay + up to $8 in performance bonuses)
Part 2 HIT expectations:

• 1200 workers will do Part 1 and will receive the qualification to do Part 2.
• We will post our Part 2 HIT in three batches (on 10th, 13th, and 14th of August at 2PM ET). Each batch will allow for 260 workers to participate (a total of 780 workers will do Part 2).
• In one particular batch, workers who join the HIT late (after all the games have started in that batch) will receive a message like this: "Sorry, all games are full", and they will be able to participate in the later batches of our Part 2 HIT (if there is any...so try to check out Part 2 HIT in early batches to maximize your chance of playing).
• You are allowed to take the Part 2 HIT at most once (i.e., if you complete the Part 2 HIT in one of the batches, you should not take the HIT in other batches).

If you are to participate and get assigned the qualification, it is critical that you show up on time at the beginning of the scheduled time slots. Otherwise, it would delay the start of the game for the other participants.

NOTE: If you have already done this HIT before, you will not be eligible to participate.

For part 1, you don't need qual. Doing Part 1 is the qualification for Part 2.

For part 1, as it will be done individually, we submit in small batches throughout the day .. but the biggest batch as at 2pm.

Part 2, is likely to be done in groups. So we will submit 1 batch per day at 2PM exactly.

 

Yes, Monday and Tuesday we'll submit each day 500 batch (1200 total with today's batches). The biggest batch will be at 2pm, but we'll start before that (at ~11AM) and the last batch will be around 4PM ET.

 

I went to panda this (just in case there were other times today) and it says I am not qualified?

 

Maybe you've done this task in the past (we ran it in early July too).
