The fight for ethics in journalism idea raised when Eron Gjoni, Zoe Quinn’s former boyfriend, wrote a disparaging blog post about her. After that, #gamergate hashtag users falsely accused Quinn of an unethical relationship with journalist Nathan Grayson. In response to the Gamergate supporters, Gamergate opposers think that Gamergate is a movement that mainly attack feminists and women in the gaming industry and think that Gamergate should stop since it does not really concern itself with its original porpuse being ethics in journalism.
