    got a rejection on this for going "too fast," argued with the requester to no avail. they said they're basing their time estimates on a PhD student in their office who completed the survey, so are rejecting anyone who was faster than he was

    yeah they were not friendly over email and kindly offered to give me the IRB info 3 emails after i requested it, then ghosted me. i could look it up, but eh. it's so frustrating to have to put in so much effort to remedy situations like this, i usually give up which is probably what they want

    i find that my time is better spent blocking that requester and doing more work that pays me instead of chasing a rejection that probably won't be overturned unless i turn blue in the face arguing with them. i have been down that road many a time and i'm just sick of it tbh
