I know...but this is the first post I've seen him really get...shall we say...slightly miffed? Since he's been back.

I've been pretty open in the past about my adventures with crippling anxiety and pretty nasty bouts of depression. I just try and channel all that into productive stuff like cooking and ludicrous amounts of steps. I find that cleaning my kitchen instead of crying in bed all day tends to make me feel better in the long run, even if I fucking hate how much effort it takes to get up and do one thing. But every time I do one thing, it gets a little easier to do one more. Also, fake it till to ya make 1000% for me. I regularly convince myself, "I'm not depressive right now, I just need to take 20k more steps and I'll feel fine again!"

Also, my cat. Havvvvvve you heard about Bearnie? He's an excellent listener and he needs some help with typing, but he's pretty fond of chatting with folk.



Hang in there buddy. Life is tough, but everyone here, yourself included, is even tougher!

 

I usually pause the timer or stopwatch it on my phone since I seem to get the worse end of them but OTOH requesters are putting them in there so its perfectly valid to count it imo
