    I used this in many of my cheap apts that I lived in back in cold weather states. If you put it on right, you can't really see it. You use a blow dryer to 'shrink it' flat and smooth.

    I think I'm actually going to try that instead. I looked at the regular kind of window film and my pets would just put holes through them. A lot goes through the edges so that could be the easiest way to do it

    You aren't crazy for feeling that way. I have always had nightmares that are happening in the very room I'm in, so it always feels like I'm actually awake. I used to be paralyzed when this stuff would happen, but there have been times where I full on karate kicked my dresser.

    If it happens again, the key is trying to become self aware of the dream, and convincing yourself you are sleeping. If you wake up from it, fully wake yourself up until you are alert, even if it means losing sleep, you will thank yourself later.
