Scripts are generally held fine on MTurk when they reduce the repetitive nature w/o impacting the data quality..

but for surveys.. the repetitive nature is part of the data quality. If you just decide your answer to "Some groups should dominate others" on w/e day you write the script is "Strongly disagree" but then set it in stone forever from that point on you are basically not doing the surveys any more, the dude you were when you wrote the script is.

When the research is your answer in any given moment (after manipulations, etc) it gets murky as fuck as to if that is crossing a line or not.. for behavioral research, I think its too much to automate anything beyond the most absolute basic of demographic questions.

No matter the case, qualtrics makes it a pain in the ass anyway lol.
